Time just slips away. In the last bit we've celebrated St. Patrick's
Day, dealt with another stomach virus, I traveled near DC for a
conference (and we are still dealing with residual separation anxiety from that), got a
new couch (due to above-mentioned stomach virus...), played at the
park, and had lots of cute, fun days.
Alaina just loves Madeline to pieces. We are lucky she is such a sweet, patient dog.
This is probably one of my favorite videos in recent history--
We are still teaching A to 'be gentle' (and she is teaching Madeline not to lick; or trying to--thus the "no bite").
She loves to yell at the dogs when they are dawdling outside. I don't know where she learned this behavior...
You can see a little preview for her birthday party theme. She is going to be so excited!
She absolutely loves being outside so all of this warmer weather has been awesome.
I had no idea this kid knew how to slide on her own!! When did she get so big??
Poor, sick sweet pea. And the day before I left for my conference, too. :(
Fortunately, she recovered quickly. She spent the day on Saturday and Sunday with Aunt Kris, Uncle Neil, and Cousin Avery. She was in heaven.
She also got a new chair for her (early) birthday and she is obsessed with it.
She loves to make her surprised face these days.
Stealing rice from the Greek restaurant take-out. Rice that she won't eat if we put it on her plate, of course.
She was sad to hear that she couldn't stay up to watch the UK game (p.s. See the new couch?).
Sandwiches taste better if you hide behind the couch while eating them.
Cleaning is no fun if you can't make a mess...
Silly girl.
