"Easter party so much fun!"

This is the quote we've been hearing for over two weeks, when A was with me at the store when I bought the eggs and filling for her school's egg hunt. All day. Every day. Fortunately the Easter party really *was* so much fun. And so was Ben's birthday. And Easter Sunday.

These kids are the cutest.

She could barely contain her excitement--she kept shouting to me and Chad and was clearly itching to "put eggs in the bucket".

She was also really excited to see the Easter bunny and wanted us to wait in line to see him.

However, she only wanted to see him--she wouldn't even give him a high-five. Who could blame her? The Easter bunny is super creepy. This one is slightly less creepier than some I have seen.

On Saturday we went to Ben's super cute party.

As usual, she is slow to warm up and wanted to play alone for the first hour of the party.

But she came around.

When we came home, we had a lot of fun coloring eggs. She was even more excited about it this year and was much more patient while they were dipped.

Thoughtfully deliberating the sticker options

She was also excited about her "Easter surprise".

You can actually see her doing a potty dance here. ;)

We had lots of fun with our Easter egg hunt with Avery.

Egg hoarding

Avery's egg hunting strategy is the smartest--she waited for A to find them first.
